Appointments are changing!

Booking an appointment is changing

We are improving and streamlining our appointment system for patients. On Monday the 9th October 2023, we are changing to an online triage system by AccuRx. Patients will no longer need to telephone to book an appointment with a clinician.

Patients will need to complete a simple form online via our website. The form is available during surgery hours for clinical enquiries and 7 days a week for administrative enquiries (forms submitted out of hours will not be looked at until the next working day).

This will be much easier for most patients to contact us for medical or administrative requests rather than calling the surgery by telephone to speak to a receptionist.

It will enable us to book on the day appointments for those that have a clinical need, or pre-book an appointment for more routine conditions. We may also signpost to other services such as a pharmacy.

If you do not have access to the internet or find it difficult to use a computer or smartphone, you can telephone instead and a member of the reception team will help fill the form out with you.

Please continue to contact the surgery to book bloods, nurse appointments, to speak to a secretary regarding a referral, to enquire about a prescription request already submitted and for test requests.

We will be running Flu clinics from 23rd September 2023 through to October 2023 on a Saturday. We will be sending invites to you via text message and contacting all those who do not have a mobile number registered. If you are eligible for a Covid Vaccination (over 75 years old, in the at risk category or immunocompromised) you will also be able to have your Covid vaccination. Please DO NOT call the surgery for any queries regarding Flu as the reception team do not have the capacity to deal with queries, Someone will in touch.
