You are eligible to have the Shingles Vaccine if you are currently aged 70, 78 or 79, so your date of birth is:
02/09/1945 – 01/09/1946 or
02/09/1936 – 01/09/1938
You can also be vaccinated if you were eligible in a previous year, so if your date of birth is:
02/09/1942 – 01-09-1945
The flu vaccine is recommended for people who are 65 and over or have:
Diabetes, Asthma or suffer from long-term conditions affecting the:
lungs, heart, kidneys, liver, brain or nervous system, immune system & spleen.
Pregnant women are entitled to the flu vaccine and a whooping cough vaccine.
Children aged 2, 3 & 4 whose date of birth is between 02/09/2011 – 01/09/2014 can be immunised against flu which is given nasally.
